Have i missed something here?Is there be ANY possible reason they want to 3D print food rather than just -you know- MIX IT NORMALLY AND COOK IT ?

Maybe the military want their meals made in incredibly complex artistic 3D shapes?Maybe they want to print edible toy soldiers?Of course, that would raise moral! Hey lets go the whole hog and customize them to the shape of each soldier ;-)
